In the Redwood forest there is
magic.....

I am approximately 11 miles south of Big Basin State park, Big Basin is Mostly Redwood forests, with many campgrounds available and hiking is abundant, it boasts one of the nicer  hikes, the skyline to the sea trail, more on it in hiking section, Big Basin has 147  developed campsites,5 trail camps and 35 tent cabins, natural and cultural history exhibits, with many activities in the summer months, call 831 338 8860

Henry cowell state park is located approx 5 miles south of me, it has 2 entrances the campgrounds are off of Graham Hill rd and daytime picnic areas are off of Highway 9 the campgrounds is more like oak trees, the hiking is spectacular and is home to some of the large 1st growth Redwood forests and has a very nice gift shop call 831 335 4598

I carry some local hiking maps also, In Big Basin the favorite skyline to the sea trail , it starts in Castle Rock park on highway35 and goes thru Big Basin State park and ends at waddel creek on Highway 1, many stay over at sunset trail creek camp in Big Basin, also many do a one day hike from big Basin to the sea, the bus runs to Big Basin as well as waddell creek.
Also Henry cowell has day hiking and walks that are fantastic as well, my favorite is Fall Creek trail 1 mile west of felton i have maps for most of these places, have a good hike....Bob
